January 2019, COLOR VISION proudly launches a new product - Imaging luminance Colorimeter CV-2000. CV-2000 is a high-precision and cost-effective imaging luminance colorimeter independently developed by the technical team of VISION, and is applying for multiple certificates.

Imaging luminance colorimeter is a new type of colorimetric measurement tool that has gradually emerged in recent years. Because it integrates the traditional colorimetric measurement function and the camera detection function, it can not only complete the colorimetric measurement, but also realize the distribution measurement of the entire screen. It is especially suitable for the uniformity measurement of flat panel displays and the luminance and colorimetric measurement of automotive instrument displays. Compared with traditional point measurement methods, such as CA-210/310, BM-7, SR-3A, CS-2000, PR-650/655, etc., its advantages are obvious.

Traditional display screen measurement uses CA-210/310 to measure multi-point uniformity, which requires the use of a robotic arm for mobile measurement, which is time-consuming and labor-intensive. At the same time, in order to detect screen defects, an industrial camera is also required to detect points, lines, and Mura. The CV-2000 combines a colorimeter with a 20-megapixel camera to not only measure luminance and chromaticity uniformity, but also detect defects simultaneously, saving time and cost.

For automotive instrument testing, although spectral colorimeters such as CS-2000 can achieve higher accuracy, it is very time-consuming and laborious to align the measurement point with the luminous area of the luminous characters. In addition, sometimes the data may deviate due to the deviation of the alignment position. Therefore, customers prefer to take pictures of the whole instrument with an imaging luminance colorimeter, and then they can easily analyze all the data.

CV-2000 uses a semiconductor refrigeration device to keep the chip at a constant temperature, ensuring noise suppression when measuring low luminanceand long exposure. According to actual measurements, CV-2000 can accurately measure low luminance of 0.001cd/m2, with a short-term repeatability of less than 0.5%.

Each CV-2000 needs to undergo a series of tests and calibrations before leaving the factory to ensure the accuracy of the product, including dark current, linearity, uniform field, luminance calibration, chromaticity calibration, color A series of corrections such as shift require one-to-one matching of each imaging luminance colorimeter and lens (aperture, focus distance, etc.) to ensure accuracy.

CV-2000 can quickly obtain the distribution information of the sample's luminance and chromaticity through images. The 20 million pixels provide high-resolution details for the test, making it suitable for laboratory tests that require high precision. Its high cost performance is also suitable for production line tests. It has a compact appearance and is easy to operate. It can complete automatic exposure testing with one button. Data analysis and export are also very simple. The self-developed matching software interface is simple, practical and easy to operate.

CV-2000 can be widely used in testing FPD displays, vehicle displays, illuminated keyboards, lighting, etc.
